League of the Empty Chair

I came across League of the Empty Chair whilst searching for some Vitra Miniatures and quite frankly, it's fabulous. It's a photo group on Flickr that is 'a home for all those pics floating around the Flickrsphere of seemingly misplaced chairs'. They're not interested in just any photo of any chairs, but ones that are empty and/or interestingly out of place. Some of the photos are just beautiful, it reminds me of the chair equivalent of an elephants grave yard. I recommend you grab a cuppa, make yourself comfy and have a flick through the photos. I will be.

Spotted on Ebay: Monaco Corner Sofa

Just spotted this super deal over on eBay . £800 for the corner sofa, foot stool and storage box. In an immaculate condition (was reupholstered yesterday) corner sofa with matching footstool and storage pouffe for sale. It's on DfS for over £2000 all in ( it's the Monaco ), and is really really comfy but alas, doesn't fit in the odd shape rooms of our new house. Selling for £800 or offers. Yes, okay, it's my corner sofa! Blogger's prerogative right? :)

Vintage High Chair

If you want this, you need to get a wiggle on. It's on eBay with just a couple of hours left. Bidding is currently at £6.01. It's a highchair which goes in to a seat and table. I love it. The Eero Aarnio Ball Chair

This little lady shows us just how cool the Eero Aarnio Ball Chair is. She's rocking that chair at the Sit Down exhibition at the V&A. It's from the 60's and already a modern contemporary classic. Available from DesignShop UK from £6500 but you can get cheaper reproductions, such as the £350 copy from Furnisho . And big thanks to Bambino Goodies for the use of this image.
