Alma Chairs by Magis

What makes this children’s chair special is the creative solution that Magis designer Javier Mariscal has applied to a structural necessity – instead of the standard geometric ribbing patterns, the Alma Stacking Chair features a patterns of tree branches - with a few birds perched among them to add to the charming effect. It can be stacked up to four high, and is available in four colours to represent the four seasons – green for spring, yellow-orange for summer, brown for autumn, and white for winter. Cute. £31 from Nubie.

Condesa chair by Sentou Edition

Forget the set of drawers, it's the chair we're talking about here, specifically the Condesa chair by Sentou Edition. It's a take on the 'basket' chair common in the 1960s. Only this one has a structure in black powder coated solid steel with epoxy resin, while the seat is in plastic rope with UV protection. Which means it's good for in, out or in your conservatory. Three colour options, all selling for £305 . Via Retro to Go .
